Meet the Owners

"This farmhouse stands not only on old stone and weathered wood, but on the strength of those who came before us. In tending the land, raising animals, and planting for tomorrow, we honor their legacy. This place is our touchstone, where family returns, roots deepen, and the past and future grow side by side."

Fifteen years ago, KimberLee and Jerry acquired what would become Homespun Farms, a property surrounded by historic stands of hardwoods and a hidden grove of pawpaws that fruit for only a short time each year. Just up the street is where they make their home, always close to the farm and the daily rhythms of caring for it. Jerry delights in the yarn spun from their alpacas, which are turned into sweaters by hand, while KimberLee finds joy in connecting farming with preservation and nature.

Their roots in this community run deep. Jerry grew up in York County, and KimberLee made her home here after completing her surgical training. For more than 30 years, she has been a surgeon dedicated to breast cancer care, serving families throughout the region. Together, KimberLee and Jerry continue to cultivate this land not only as a farm, but as a place of history, healing, and belonging.
